Call for Tutorials
ISCC2007 will be preceded by a set of half-day or full day tutorials that
will cover theoretical and practical aspects of the conference topics. The
tutorials will take place Sunday, July 1st and will present recent advances
in the field of computers and communications and will be targeted towards
practitioners and researchers in the field of the conference topics. Every
effort will be made to ensure tutorials complement the technical program.
Proposals for tutorials are solicited. Evaluation of proposals will be based
on the expertise and experience of the instructors, the relevance of the
subject matter, the objectives outlined above and the general conference
objectives. Potential instructors are invited to submit a tutorial proposal
of at most 3 pages, including a biographical sketch, by January 31, 2007.
What to Send:
- Title and contact information
- Outline of material to be presented
- Description of the potential audience and of any prerequisite
background knowledge expected from the target audience
- Why the proposed topic is interesting and timely
- Biographical sketch of the presenter(s)
- List of prior tutorials presented
- List of handouts or books to be distributed to the participants
